Join the LXI Consortium
The LXI Consortium is a not-for-profit corporation initially established by Agilent Technologies and VTI Instruments (formerly called VXI Technology). Its primary purpose is to promote the development and adoption of the LXI Standard, an open, accessible standard identifying specifications and solutions relating to the functional test, measurement and data acquisition industry.
The Consortium is open to all test and measurement companies, and participation by industry/university professionals, systems integrators, and government representatives is also highly encouraged. Membership is divided into five levels: Strategic, Participating, Advisory, Informational and University.
Annual dues are:
- $20k for a Strategic Member (Board membership and voting privileges)
- $5k for a Participating Member (technical voting privileges)
- $5k for an Advisory Member (technical participant, no voting)
- $2500 for an Informational Member
- $500 for a University Member
How to join the LXI Consortium
1. Parties interested in joining the consortium should consult the LXI By-laws and the LXI Membership Application. More information about LXI can be found in the What is LXI and the Papers & Presentations sections of the web site.
2. Download and print the LXI Membership Application from the link on this page. Fill in the application: name and address of the company applying, business and technical contacts, class of membership.
