Every LXI device provides an IVI instrument driver. IVI drivers offer a standard
software interface and enable you to easily build automated tests in your preferred
software. A list of IVI drivers for LXI instruments can be found at the IVI Foundation Driver Registry.
All LXI instruments include a web interface. You can quickly view basic information
about your instrument and configure its LAN settings in any browser. In addition,
many LXI instruments allow complete control of the instrument through the web interface,
through text-based commands over the VISA interface, and through instrument drivers
designed for specific software tools. Several member companies offer software packages
designed to work with LXI instruments.
